Guest Guest Posted February 16, 2011 Lovely. I like how you broke the 'rules' with a very small amount of ground included - it gives it a great expansive feel. I just think it might be a bit too much, i.e. maybe just a tad more ground would be good. However, it's well done. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted February 17, 2011 Val, Wonderful, dramatic image. Since this is a chapel or small church, one could say it was saved by the grace of god, eh? Excellent composition. Was this a tornado-like event or is it just the wide angle that adds drama to the sky? This is definitely better in B&W than color. Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted February 17, 2011 This image is excellent in Black&White. It reminds me of my years past taking landscape photographs with a large format film camera on a heavy duty tripod.Keep up the excellent work. Link to comment

jhl 0 Posted February 18, 2011 Dramatic & almost Spiritual capture.!The fact that you presented this to us in B&W is impressive. The dramatic cloud formation above the tree and church made me concerntrate more to the bottom of the middle area of clouds-It looks as if water is being poured from the cloud to the tree as if it's being blessed.Congratualtions on this find and lovely capture. I personally love it!Warmest RegardsJohanna from South Africa Link to comment
