Everything works here, color, composition, exposure. A very nice scene, well photographed. The ratings are no measure of quality, remember that. the ratings system is a reflection of  popularity not actual quality.

Very nice scene. Love the kids in motion. And the man in 1/3 acts like a balance to the composition.

Bill, one thing you can try here is to shift the curves (histogram) in the black side a bit. I think that will make the image a bit more crisp on the black side.
