This is a shot I tool of Albertson's Park in Boise Idaho last weekend.

I do not generally leave these morning shots this dark. I would like

some input if it is too dark or not. Thank You

If this is was the light when it was shot then it deserves to be shown, looks good from here.......if people like it to brighter go back and take the same shot midday.........well done, best regards

A good comment Mark.

For me, Charles, you have captured the best part of the day. This is a great image..... one to be proudly displayed on a wall. The little border finishes it off very nicely...... well done.

Regards

I like it. It's not too dark for me. Actually the bit of grass in the foreground that's relatively well lit looks out of place.

Although many have suggested this image is not too dark IMHO I find this image IS in fact just that. Yes I agree if these are the light conditions then it should be a clear representation of the scene however composition and the technique used to showcase that scene (pre-production) can also help enhance a scene like this.  Charles you have captured some good light along the bottom of the image (grass land). I would suggest having included more of that could help balance the scene. I accept some people don't like manipulating an image but some additional light tones would have provided clarity in this scene. Again IMHO

(on a side note I find much of what I'm suggesting evident in your other body of works)
