bruno_lombard1 0 Posted February 14, 2011 it is not an easy thing to shoot Place du Tertre because it has been thousands of times... the fact is, there are painters on this place, there are hundreds of tourists and both interconnect... Link to comment
bill_brown8 0 Posted February 14, 2011 Great shot. Do I detect the very subtle use of the Orton Effect or do you have your own magic recipe? Link to comment
bruno_lombard1 0 Posted February 14, 2011 Thank you Bill for your comment ! Well I will look for what the "Orton effect" is as I still do not know what it is... Well, I used photomatix combined with the original layer and I used levels...Amitiésbruno Link to comment
RickDB 10 Posted February 14, 2011 Nicely controlled use of Photomatix - but I too thought Orton Effect. Give it a try: Duplicate layer (CMD or CTRL J) - apply a 50% Gaussian blur to top layer, change blend mode to mutlipy and adjust opacity to taste - thats all there is the Orton Effect. You can add some interesting effects by painting in or out parts of the picture with a layer mask. Cheers, RickDB Link to comment
