jenniferleigh 0 Posted February 13, 2011 While I am able to interpret what the subject matter is, IMO, this shot it somewhat boring. I spotted a color version of this image in your folder and actually prefer that one, as it has a greater tonal range within the water. I think the b&w version flattens the water too much in this case. You also had some other really nice shots in the set.
matussik 0 Posted February 13, 2011 to me the difference between the color version and the B/W one is essentially a question of mood: the reflections on the wet stone have a warm color tone conveying a positive mood, while this one looks a bit sad. But I like them both, very graphic! My eye keeps wandering around the image finding lots of tiny details to look at, it's almost an abstract picture. Very good!! Kind regards, Jan
