mehrashk 0 Posted April 24, 2003 very good shot, like he is thinking about sth. what was the lens zoom for this shot? Link to comment
brla 0 Posted April 24, 2003 Maybe he is thinking about a fish you might toss to him! The lighting and texture of his fur and his expression are really good. Link to comment
doug andrews 0 Posted April 25, 2003 He looks as if he about to speak. Nice catchlight in the eye. Well done. Link to comment
blaise_frazier 0 Posted April 25, 2003 Hell of a lot better than my stuff. Good contrast and no visible abberations. Link to comment
oskar_t_hardt 0 Posted April 26, 2003 You did well inviting me to look at your animals portrait. I think this is a very beautiful pic. The look in his eyes is just what you expect an otter to have. Always looking for something. Good work. Link to comment
bertrietveld 0 Posted April 27, 2003 Very nice portrait, you did well. And the otter posed well as well. Link to comment

jamesmorophotography 0 Posted April 28, 2003 excellent animal portrait: he almost seems human in a way. He has this wise, penetrating look in his eyes, yet seems to have the innocence of a child. Link to comment
beto1 0 Posted April 28, 2003 Besides what has been written i must add that it is a beautiful example of black and white tone range from all black to white and all in between!! thanks for sharing!! Link to comment
t chamberlain 0 Posted April 29, 2003 I love all the detail in the wet fur. Aside from that s/he holds such a regal stance. Excellent. TC Link to comment
gmahler5th 0 Posted April 30, 2003 I will add to the praise about excellent tonal range and DOF. I'm not familiar enough with otters to make any further judgements on this image. To me, this animal appears to be quite small, so I am wondering whether or not it was such a good idea to crop so tightly on his head? I am really curious about what the rest of him looks like. Nice work! Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted July 31, 2003 Nice portrait, definitely good tonal range/contrast and DOF. Well done. To be picky, I'd like to have a tad more room on the top. Link to comment
