surfing on your portfolio (landscapes), you are capturing with creativity , being P.N. fellow i will suggest you to give some more light details on the horizon that will boost the whole impact of your snap, well done i love the shot even like this too !!!!...........regards hoping you dont  mind my critique.

Thank you Khurshid, for your comment,

You're absolutely right, I have made the change and is a big inprovement...

I'm wondering if I should repost the image?

Thanks again.

To my eye, the colors in the sky are quite distracting, especially the green hues.  I think Khurshid had made a good suggestion regarding detail on the horizon.  I like the texture on the water's surface, and the aspect ratio you've chosen fits the scene very well.

If you re-post, it would be nice to include this original in your posting so viewers can see the difference and see how you've changed the photo.

Here is a new version to the picture and I also will be posting the original file.

I'm having treble with colors and color management and learning colors, since my doctor says I'm color blind...

I DO APPRECIATE your comments critiques and suggestions, which led to realize I had much more to learn about color editing and management and I find my self at a level where I can't do much more to this picture, then this new edit.

here it is! I would like to know what you guys think of the new edit. Thank you!

Best regards.

Sal.

Sal, I'll admit that all of the digital processing you've done on the original has added interest to the photo.  When this much processing is done on a photo, it's probably very difficult for most of us to achieve realistic colors throughout the photo.  If you're wanting dramatic colors, I'd suggest waiting until that remarkable sunrise or sunset comes along with the colors already in the sky rather than trying to "force" them to come out with heavy processing.  On the other hand, if you're not looking for a realistic rendition, then whatever you do that you like is going to work for you.

Thank you Stephen,

I agree a 100 percent.

it was my amature thinking that took president at the moment. If I paned to the left you would see the restaurant we were having dinner at the eveinig.

We arrived when the light was more dramatic, but instead of jumping of the car to go take the picture I had to wait for guest and at the table for service and arguing with my wife that I had to go and take the picture.

by the time I got outside I decided to set the camera in the AEB setting and get some bratketed shots for HDR, But stupid me accidently deleted the corresponding files and was left with the one file and try to make the best of it in post.

Lesson learned...

Thank you Stephen for taking the time to take another look...

Best regards... :)

Sal

Sal, that's a good story.... I can just envision you wanting to get out to get that photo.  People who don't do photography just won't understand, but those of us who use cameras will understand (and sympathize) completely.

I am fast at getting away from the love ones and take the image and later listen to the complain, after I have taken the image. And then listen and smothly change the subject without defending myself.  In my defencelessness my safety lies!  From A course In Miracles.  Photography is a Miracle in my life! Sooo I take images and run!   Warm regards my friend.
