That wall worked well for the shadows on its side and it left an interesting highlight that looks more like windows in her eyes.  However you needed something to put light into the upper right where her hair vanishes into the darkness.

 Because she is facing toward our viewing right hand side, the fact that her face is close to it makes it look a little crowded on the right.  Remembering the old idea of "center the tip of the nose" I offer a crop that both gets rid of the hair blending into darkness problem and gives a more intense portrait -and- eliminates the square crop. It is hard to find photo folders or frames that are square.

Sweet portrait.  Single large light source has provided some soft interesting light here that is flattering for the young subject and nice catchlights.

Correct cropping is not less important then model positioning. Good advise will help me, and rest of photo.net readers.
