No argument from me on all the positive comments above.  I see you have already passed this one through Photoshop or some other manipulation program to get your soft treatment of the background.  A wise decision which aids in further separating your subject from it.  On my screen the image comes across a tad too dark & flat for me so I passed it through Photoshop and, with the application of "Auto Levels" and a 5% boost in contrast, came up with a result which is more pleasing to me.  Others' mileage may vary as I imagine there is a great range of possibilities in further post processing.  In any case this is a most excellent portrait, the strong points being it's sharpness, her expression, and, to suit my personal bias, your presentation in B&W.  Always a treat to view your offerings.  Best, LM.
