It's hard to make constructive comments from the small image size. Seems to be well framed. Interesting choice on the depth of field, but I'm not sure it works for me; in my opinion, there are just too many elements out of focus that I would like to see in sharp relief. Perhaps a tighter crop would work better, omitting the elements on the left.

I have to agree. I don't think the blurred foreground works for me. Plus I think this was cropped a lot. Looks like pixelation especially on the yellow fire hat.

Nice! Some spray coming out of the end of the hose would may really strengthen this.

I like the repeated vertical and horizontal lines but there are to many things compeating for my attention. Image size is a problem also as it's pixelated. I think you are on the right track with the frames within frames.
