mmmee 0 Posted June 2, 2003 This one is terrific. I cannot decide which I like better. Your whole portfolio shows so much talent. Congratulations on your well deserved award as POW! Print them, yes!! I hope you get feedback on how to get your career launched. There are people on photo.net who could help, I am sure. Best of luck! Link to comment
carl_williams 0 Posted June 3, 2003 I prefer this picture to the other of the same person, it seems to be more about his music, very evocative, perfect timing, framing, depth of field and exposure. Colour and black-and-white seem more or less equally good to me. Black and white perhaps looks more timeless, more archetypal, reinforcing the timeless posture and intent of the fiddler. Extremely good photos, inspirational. Link to comment
matt_l.1 0 Posted June 3, 2003 I prefer the latter picture, mostly because of the less distracting background. This is another beautiful shot, and i'd be wowed if i hadn't seen the other before hand. Great work, and best of luck Link to comment
I think the two versions of this picture (I mean the other one you have in your portfolio, not the color one) are striking. It makes you want to be this person, to have his passion. We all have a comon passion among us, photography, and you have showed again that photography can capture these feelings we could pass by on our everyday basis. Not only that, but the passion showed by the subject draws you into the image even further. Great caption. Link to comment
maria bogdanova 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Very expressive! I like this variant more than another one, wich were recognized as "best work of a week". I can assume, that he is plaing Bela Bartok:) Link to comment
