kevin_borden 0 Posted April 4, 2001 This photo, along with several others of yours, could be improved by learning to apply the "rule of thirds". Simply put, try not to place the subject or horizon in the center of the frame. Instead, try to make it a third of the way from one of the edge. (I realize it can be tough do to this in practice, particularly since the camera viewfinder has that tempting target in the center.) Quote Link to comment
kevin7 0 Posted April 4, 2001 i like the picture as a whole - the rule of thirds comment is a good point, but that may take away from the parting of the clouds/cross imagery. IMHO, less sky, and more of an upward view to the top of the church would add to the spiritual effect created with cloud manipulations. nice coloring overall. Quote Link to comment
traveljack 0 Posted May 9, 2001 Rule of thirds, that is...it would have been a missed shot if I'd followed the 'rule'... Quote Link to comment
