dan_andrews 0 Posted April 5, 2001 Jack-- Your color representation is good, and Velvia is the second-best film of choice for this type of photo (Provia 100F is the best--it's actually finer-grained than Velvia). This looks like an excellent subject for hyperfocal techniques. Did you use them here? If you like hyperfocal photography, Velvia and Provia 100F give excellent results. However, your composition is extremely weak. In other words, the rocks just don't work. The fact that there's no rock to frame the right side of this pic is annoying. What makes it even more imbalanced is the way the lake at the bottom of the picture is also cut off. Thanks for giving me the chance to throw in my 2 cents! Quote Link to comment
