Self portrait

Very cool self-portrait, and I imagine it must have been quite difficult to set up to do by yourself - very dramatic and compelling - I'd give it a 7/7-

Thanks a lot Mark! Yep, it was a bit tricky, especially because I don’t have any studio lights. I used two desktop lights one with hard light from the left and one with softer light from the right, a tripod and a remote control, and some Photoshop to darken it a bit and colour the eyes.

Hi Daniel.  This image really needs to be seen in the larger format to be appreciated.  Black and white is a  perfect choice.  The subtle lighting really enhances the texture of your face.  The translucent quality of the eyes contrasts so well with the skin, with the specular highlights being the final touch.  A very riveting self-portrait.  Nice one.

Is a great dramatic portrait , no need those blue eyes because is distracting from  expression.
