I must have so many parts of my brain that do not 'function' because I do not know where you come up with these ideas Pierre, but they always are a hit! Truly' out of this world'.......congrats, Gail

Gail, this picture represents the human approach to what is out of this world, so the picture's theme isn't out of this world! Different religions, each one having a lot of sects etc and God is only one and His teaching is only one! And in the name of these banal differences wars were and are fought throughout the history and they never stop which is strictly against the teaching of the only one God! That can happen only in the world, only on the earth because the one who was expelled from heaven was sent to earth! That might be the point of this picture!

After having viewed your impressive composition, while reading the comments attached, I had to recall what Einstein once wrote about religion:

"The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed. It was the experience of mystery — even if mixed with fear — that engendered religion. A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, our perceptions of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty, which only in their most primitive forms are accessible to our minds: it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute true religiosity. In this sense, and only this sense, I am a deeply religious man."

I think you regularly look for the mysterious and true art in your work.

This one I like particularly Pierre. I am not sure it would improve, probably not, but have you considered making the shells smaller as they move towards the distance?  Possibly though, the surreal effect is enhanced as it is at present.  A very interesting concept, as always, bravo.
