jimmcnitt 0 Posted April 22, 2003 The light-splashed yellow leaves make this a wonderful composition. Link to comment
pete sherman 0 Posted September 24, 2003 very nice eye and touch kim. yes the yellow is muted and wonderful as are the other tones. the angle could have been accentuated a bit more (by your moving right and creating a more diagonal of the road off into the distance) but that is a personal style issue. it is a strong a memorable shot. the blur in the low foreground is somewhat distracting and is the only detractor to my eyes. very lovely kim, good photo. pete Link to comment
jrphotog 0 Posted September 25, 2003 Kim, Thank you for your comments on my work. And my thoughts on yours? I love your loving style. You do have the eye of a photojournalist. WHere are you and what do you do... I have looked at the Buddhist Nun walking down the path for almost 20 minutes. You took me there...Thank you, Joe Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted September 25, 2003 Nice mood to this shot. I love the shallow Dof, that obscures the path the Nun is travelling. Its like life, we never know what's around the next corner. I can feel good about watching her travel her path and since her back is towards me, she cannot see me watching her. The subdued colors add to the atmosphere of serenity. Very nice composition. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
kris_haskins 0 Posted September 26, 2003 I don't really know what to say that hasn't already been said. I just want my voice in the crowd that has proclaimed this a wonderful image :). I like the balance and the play between the light and dark regions. Link to comment
