Dearest Amal,

Thankyou for your concern my friend, but you worry needlessly....Occultism is the furthest from my mind.  This composition was born of the many faces I have seen that merely walk our streets and alleyways. Lost ones who have by no choice of their own 'slipped through the cracks', strayed from the 'path', or by misfortune found themselves dwelling and associating among those whose influence has all too readily  brought them to such a 'precipus'....one that is very steep and the fall is 'costly'.

The Bible speaks of Hell and it's Master so profoundly and to quite an extent. It continually warns us of this dark underworld that unfortunately is becoming the 'subject' of many of the most popular movies that our teenagers line up to view.  But if one looks very closely these movies are 'wolves in sheep's clothing'.  They gloss it over in a dark and alluring 'romance' and make' heroes' out of the main characters. It is 'sly' and 'cunning'. But we have been warned this will happen in the latter days.

Because I do a composition of these 'unfortunates' whose lives appear as a 'mirey flotsam' that lays upon the shoreline once the 'tide has receeded', does not mean that I have fallen prey to the very 'subject' I am speaking of. It is merely a 'comment' on the many souls that walk our streets, lost, or addicted to the many 'evils' they can fall prey to. By closing our eyes, they do not go away, by ignoring their presence it does not hide the fact that even they are among the ones that are just as worthy of the 'forgiveness' that was freely given so long ago by the ONE whose 'footprints still remain in  the sand'.

I do not post 'nude photos', nor do I comment on them (perhaps I have once or twice) although I admit that the naked human form is indeed beautiful.  The 'harlot' is just as cunning if she wears some delicate lace to draw our thoughts away ever so slightly from the area of the body, or act that is displayed, but for me, the fact remains, I do not need, or desire to see, a photo of a woman's delicate 'sexuality'.  I am quite aware of 'anatomy'. Nor do I desire to view photos that hint of a 'sexual act being performed'. There are times where I feel like commenting 'okay....yes...I can read 'lips' !!!!

Yet many comment on such photos, mostly men, and I fully understand why, but they are looked upon as being 'art'.  I just choose not to comment on this type of work, but it does not make me judge the 'member' that posted this work, for many do such other beautiful work.  There are some that I do find very degrading and sickening, this comes from being a woman and feeling 'insulted' when I see such work.

But no matter how hard we try to wish it away, the effects of the 'evils' of this world, are 'threads in it's fabric'.....a sad state of affairs, but who will save those who wish to be rid of their 'soiled clothing' and 'thoughts that haunt them in the night'??? Perhaps we have to allow ourselves to truly view what 'scares and sickens us the most' to realize it just may be our responsibility.  It is surely a burden, but there is One who allowed himself to be the 'Burden Bearer'.....and He did it freely and without question when told of the 'Path He and His followers must walk'. Persecution throughout the ages is well documented....and I don't think there is an end in sight. It is not a 'world' I would ever enter without the proper 'armour'. Do not worry dear Amal, by recognizing the plight of a huge proportion of our human race, does not mean I am 'folly or prone' to make a 'rash or dangerous decison'.  Thankyou for your concern, it's reassuring that you are looking out for my best interests. Respectfully and with thanks, Gail

Of course the above is just my opinion on certain images and comparing the impression 'one' may perceive of them.  Please do not take offense to how "I" perceive some images.  Just my feelings, and I'm just an 'itsy bitsy goldfish in the big pond of life'.  Respectfully always, Gail

I was thinking of you while I was working on this one, "what would Ed do...???) so I dug deep and tried my best to bring out 'facets' that I otherwise would not have searched for on a regular basis.  You are always an inspiration to me.  Thankyou for all your Positive input Ed, certainly cheers me on.  Respectfully, Gail
