If that's a Cuban cigar, then it HAS to be Che. You have done a magnicent job with the posterization effect which, unfortunately, cannot be appreciated in the thumbnail view. Terrific!

So how did you get this effect? Very modern, I'd like to treat some of my photos similarly!

The only critique I have would be to crop at the sitting mans knees, and close to the elbow of the smoker. The scattering effect to the left of the smoker is a bit distracting.

Thanks for the comments to everyone.

How did I do it:

I was working with PS 7.0

1)Filter Blur Gaussian Blur 5%

2)Filter Artistic and the option number 3 (cuarteado in my spanish PS) with 11 % and 2 in the other three options.

3)Finally I applied the Option Curves of Colour and I was testing til I was satisfied with the result

Muy Bueno. Very good. Looks very much as if it could have been shot in CUBA in another time. I'm not a big fan of digital alterations, but here you have created a winner out of what would otherwise been a less than exraordinary image. Well done.

post script.... thank you for taking time to rate my photo of Reagan w/ Thatcher.

Why do try with a brush, oils and a canvas as your ancestors Goya, Picasso and others did?

Don't you think that you are way beyond the boundaries of photography?

Yes, may be is "el Che"...And? R.I.P.
