amalsircar 2 Posted January 22, 2011 Koushik, I would very much like to have such painting on my house wall. I find symbolism in this painting. How small plants grow-up to become a big tree, providing food & shelter to many. Admirable composition with play of light & colours. The pair of chappals on the left hand corner lends a realistic touch. Link to comment

human images 4 Posted January 27, 2011 imo the frame be better if you cropped the sliver of sky/stucco, but regardless, this is a pretty pic of charming street art Koushik – unlike most of the absurd graffiti noise one often sees in this parts. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted February 7, 2011 I'll echo Carlos's suggestion on the crop. Also, for the web version at least, it's a pity there isn't greater detail in the deep shadow area. Would probably respond to a bit of Photoshop hanky panky to lighten that area for printing. Real art, as opposed to gangland tagging graffiti, often actually enhances and benefits an area. This has been a wonderful series bringing a taste of your neighborhood to mine. Best, LM. Link to comment
ray.koushik 0 Posted February 9, 2011 Len, thanks a lot for the appreciation. Here's the cropped version. However, I failed to selectively light up the top portion in GIMP. -koushik Link to comment

ray.koushik 0 Posted March 3, 2011 Rajat, thanks for the encouragement. What by your standards is "hanky-panky", is rather tall for me. Thank you so much for the very nice rendition. It really looks much better. -koushik Link to comment
