Late Afternoon on Rt. 9

Again, your color work here is brilliant. I especially like the contrast in the bright blue reflected sky on the far building with the murky surrounding skies. 

Brilliant! 

This almost seems hand tinted.  Just enough color to sustain the story.  The clouds on the building are fantastic, as is the green truck lumbering through like a cicada.

So very dismal; life must get very depressing in such a place...that is until you look up and see the bright blue patch of sky reflected in the building and the bright and cheery green on the truck passing by; they offer a glimmer of hope that one day one can escape the concrete jungle! Thank you for sharing. :)

I do not see the numbers in the red-green blind tests, but here the green truck and the red add on the roof just screamed to me. A second later and there is blue sky among the grey. Wonderful.

the others comments are spot on: this seems like such a charmless place, yet that seemingly contradictory glimpse of blue makes this a compelling (and brilliant) image.
