Guest Guest Posted January 24, 2011 The dark skies look like lens falloff. Is it this or did you do this deliberately? Same with the bottom corners and foreground. Are you shooting with a lens that will not adequately cover the format or doing this in processing? Nothing in the image is sharp. It is soft overall. The house has an appearance of some sharpeness but it is contrast that gives the illusion.Why isn't the image sharp?A good idea but needs finessing. Check out the work of Don Kirby and see how a master handles this type of subject matter. A good start on your part but the technical problems severely handicap the image. Link to comment
