Ice forming in small brook

Very artistic and creative comp and capture, John.  I very much like the warmth of the golden late (early?) light in the LR versus the colder blues of the remainder of the image; makes for an interesting juxtaposition.  And the growing sheets of fragile ice is just exquisite.  Well seen and captured.  Cheers!  Chris

Outstanding and Beautiful with a nice diagonal layout! A six and if the top left was a tad darker with details it would be a seven in my books.

Thanks, Tony. I see your point about the UL brightness. A goodly part of that area is blown out in the file, so I'll have to see what detail there is in the original transparency. Velvia, as I'm sure you know, is very touchy about contrast.
