Pelican's on a feeding break.

1/1500, f/4.0, canon 70-200L lens with 1.4TC at max focal length. After trying to get one of these brids in action diving into the ocean, I caught two of them taking a break on the beach near the water both facing the same direction. This was taken handheld from the hotel. The next shot was not quite. I especially like the well balanced contrasts of the sand, dry, wet and the ocean, with the birds as center of interest. Minor levels and sharpening in PS.
