alton at noon Warm Street

Oh, just had to click on this. This almost has an HDR quality to it. That 2nd house is tilted.. Winnie, that iconic cheap mailbox and the plastic Mary give it away as an American Street. Am I right?

I'm not sure I feel the same contempt for that street that you do.  Alton is one of the most visually interesting places in the midwestern USA.  I doubt that it is intentionally staged for the benefit of others.  But the entire city seems willing to experiment with visual elements.

God put the light on that wall.
