Of course this is your own preference however I saw this shot in your portfolio in color and I think it had more impact.  I do like the composition and what you've captured, it just feels more morose in B&W (if that was the mood you were hoping to bring out than it works).  Happy shooting, James

The color version of this photo is very nice...but the imagination can run rampant in the B/W. I love the moody Hansel and Gretel atmosphere.

...it makes me wonder just what exactly IS further down the lane....

I like the sombre mood and delicacy.

...like in a tale or in a dream!
