eldor 0 Posted January 3, 2011 This is another shot of Clare that I'd like your opinion on. The first one was somewhat more revealing and actually was the one Clare liked most, but this one is my favorite of that series. I'd really like to hear what your opinion is of this one compared to the first one I posted. Thanks very much. Link to comment
raymondborg 0 Posted January 4, 2011 This is much better than the previous shot regarding the pose. Congrats. Link to comment
diegovaldes 0 Posted January 4, 2011 As this is a mirror shot,i would like to see a reflection of the body or the face in the mirror. Without reflection, no mather if it's a mirror or another object. For me would be better if i could see the 2 handsI likle the lightingGreetings Link to comment
hangthemoon 0 Posted January 4, 2011 Clare is correct, the other shot is by far the better shot for many reasons. if this were a better shot without being "to revealing" i would say so. but, it is not.good work in either case but i have made my opinion clear. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted January 4, 2011 The lighting is very good on the model, but you have a problem with the background paper. It has formed pockets which puff outward and your cross lighting makes them show up. If you could keep the lighting off of the paper (use a gobo to shade it) the results would be better. (gobo = go between - a stand with a piece of cardboard or whatever to cast a shadow) Another way might be to have barn doors on your light.Jerry Link to comment
starvy 7 Posted January 4, 2011 I too prefer this. I think the photographer knows more than the model in this instance. The lighting, composition and your framing feels just adequate to convey what you are trying to say. One slight critique, I wish the backdrop could be fully blurred out. It is a tad distracting. amrjustem 0 Posted January 22, 2011 I like the pose in this picture better. I think mainly because it has an extension to it and the overall shape is essentially a long diagonal. I do like the contrast and color better in the other picture though. Also, I think it would have been a little better if the mirror had been moved up a bit so that it could not be seen popping out from behind her leg. But overall it is a really cool shot with a nice pose. Link to comment
