Home again and in sepia

jean_schweitzer

I have been back on the place where I took the first version of "my house". I have sent a new version yesterday and here is another one that I think I already prefer. It is s single shot of a church reflected in the water. The picture is rotated 180 deg., therefore a bit of lovely confusion (to my humble opinion...)Jean

At first glance I thought it was 2 exposures combined in one frame through PS, but after reading your comment and detail...Wow! Nice effect, as if the fallen leaves were breezing through the air from the left side of the church. The sepia effect works for me as well. Nice work!

The inversion is a great touch! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I prefer the color version -- although they are both exceptional!

Lovely confusion indeed! I could not understand what that was in the upper left, until reading the comments. Are you just checking to see if we know what we are talking about? *grin* I like the sepia. And now that I am little bit more aware of what this is, I like it even more. Terrific reflection. It now looks like 'gramma's house' where little red riding hood may have arrived at in the woods. Or was it Hansel and Gretel? I seem to be getting my fairy tales mixed up. See how confusing it is? All very obscure. The house hidden by the trees.
