Foggy Christmas Friday

Captured in Christmas Friday. Estonian countryside, -12 degrees outside (+10 F). Just before sunset fog appeared that covered especially lower areas. As it was difficult to capture anything of remarkable beauty close to river near my home then I drove around and found this nice spot. After taking this picture unfortunately my car was stuck in snowdrift which meant half an hour of shoveling to get out again. :-)

I really like the soft, muted, almost pastel colors in this photo.  It's striking how much that little tuft of grass in the lower right adds to the photo; if I mentally take it away, the photo becomes much more simple and (IMO) less interesting.  Very nicely done.
