tom_whelan 0 Posted April 2, 2001 Nice colors, but you might want to try spot-metering on the highlights (the flower's center in your picture) so you don't overexpose. Or use another exposure technique: bracketing a series of shutte speeds or using exposure compensation. Link to comment
william_vragovic 0 Posted April 2, 2001 Nice shot. I like how there is a lot of contrast. Like the other commentor mentioned, the highlights are a little overexposed, but it works with this shot. With practice you'll see those kinds of things better and adjust. Keep shooting! Link to comment
eric_jordan1 0 Posted May 25, 2001 Exposure is pretty good but I too would recommend spot metering. I usualy meter off of the green leaves or stem to get a good flower exposure since green is in the middle of the color spectrum it would appear grey to the meter on the camera. Over all though good shot. Link to comment
