Guest Guest Posted December 29, 2010 I think that I am always taken by gray tones and the soft features that it can deliever in a photograph. It works so well on human skin sometimes not so well in my arch. images so I tend to move to contrast by generating High Pass Filters. I think the softness is what works so well in this image, not to mention your eye for compostion and dramatic poses... Cheers MJ Link to comment

starvy 7 Posted January 16, 2011 There is such natural rawness to it. The image and her posture oozes sex. The smoothness or blur, whatever one calls it signifies a sense of movement. When still photography can emulate movement, it is a success. Still John, I would like to see this sense of movement retained but more sharpness around her face. Technically, that might be well nigh impossible or require lighting so complex and contrived that your 'natural' shooting habits would not tolerate that. One obvious flaw for me that nobody else had commented on - perhaps a gesture of being so seduced by the sexy model - is that under-tray to the table. A very slight crop should sort that out.I am glad that even you fail to be perfect. This leaves the rest of us leaping into a sigh of relief.. Link to comment
