danbliss 0 Posted December 27, 2010 It is a beautiful, quiet image with the building beautifully framed by the hills. Nicely done. Dan Link to comment
bw_guy 0 Posted December 27, 2010 Nicely done. The undulating road adds to the success of this composition. In spite of its present condition, the place seems to be a beautiful one, by the way! Link to comment

dom1 1 Posted December 28, 2010 I like this photo a lot, with blacks, whites, and shades of gray. I'm not sure about the road, as it leads my eye away from the subject, the house. It's almost overcome by the diagonal line of the mountain, top left. Link to comment

gladys_waite 0 Posted December 30, 2010 This is a lovely image. In most of the scenes I have observed like this one - there is a fair amount of clarity in the foreground and then things fade into the distance. The foreground is punchy with contrast and I like that - from an artistic perspective I would prefer to see less contrast starting with the left side of the image. It would be nice to lighten the dark areas on the two 'tumbleweeds" on the left side. Much of what i have written is really artistic and a personal preference so it is your call. Best of luck and keep up the good work. Link to comment
