Drying bog, Sierra Nevada

An intimate landscape from this summer's trip to the Sierras. For

most of the trip, the mosquitoes were annoying, but not horrible.

This place was the one, spectacular exception. I'm a little surprised

you can't see any of them on the lens.

This is very artistic landscape and with very powerful lighting and so pleasant with its colors, the composition here is well thought off and do add a great impact to the over all image quality.

Impressionism at its best!  Outstanding!  Thanks for braving the mosquitoes for us!  I thought I read somewhere (FB?) that you'll be in Indiana for the holidays.  At least you can expect a white Xmas.  We've had more snow in December than I can ever remember.  If you ever get down to Indy, please let me know.  Have a wonderful holiday, John, and I'm glad you decided to stay around PN!
