the angle captures the "expectancy", nurhan. she seems to have everything except santa's surprises ;-} (pov is all in my eyes!) you've made an awesome asethetic choice of it for your purpose. waiting for santa is surely expressed here. ;-} dp

Unbelievable combination of warm home Xmas mood and outside gray day and banal traffic crowd and all with so high altitude difference! Most original and aesthetically extraordinary well done, a masterpiece! Seven all the way!

So much in this photo that I find myself looking at it again and again. I love the way that the reds outside add to the reds on the Xmas tree. The positioning of the figures are excellent. Really enjoyed this shot.

nurhan,

Goldens have all the fun. When I grow up or become reincarnated (whichever comes first) I want to be a dog  -- that one! Very pretty girl with a lovely shape -- lucky dog!

I love the cool light of the outdoors with the warmth of the indoors. The dog looks so happy and content next to her that it must be a male. The composition and focus is very good. Her skin tone is excellent. I don't mind the distortion of the window. The sides of the window work well as leading lines to the girl and dog. The burning in of the floor works well to keep the viewer's eyes on the subjects. The color saturation and contrast are very good.

Her eyes do look a little spooky to me. I can't tell if I am seeing the whites of her eyes or if she has very light eyeshadow?

I wish she wasn't wearing such a busy dress. The pattern does draw my attention to her dress. The style does work very well with her figure, though.

To get even pickier, I would prefer her left hand more on the top of the dog's rump. This would have the side (edge) of her hand towards the camera. Just like having a girl's body turned at an angle to the camera, the side or edge of the hand towards the camera makes the hand appear thin, more feminine, graceful and elegant. I'm sure the dog doesn't care one way or the other -- just so her hand is on him.

nur tanrıöven photographer 2010 is not part of the photograph. It would be quite appropriate to place your name and the date on a mat surrounding the photograph.

Nice shot,

Mark

Lovely color and tones in this shot.  Great POV, can even see how silky the retriever's hair is....Beautiful dog. She certainly seems to be 'dreaming' of someone, hoping they will soon arrive.  Well done...warm regards, Gail
