wasp and daisy

Took it in my garden. This is the third of three pictures taken of

three different insects on the same flower over the space of an hour

last Friday morning.

Nice Angle. The shape of the petals is repeated in the shape of the wings.

Miguel, I'm not as enthusiastic about this shot as the other commentators are, but I hope you'll find my remarks helpful. I find the other two photos in this series more engaging, because both the subject and the background elements are oriented toward the viewer and more neatly framed. I think the other two also make better use of DOF and exposure. Here's a trick you might enjoy trying next time you're out in the garden: hold a large leaf or sheet of colored paper behind the scene to get a non-black background.

this doesn't belong in the news/journalism category... the picture is alright, the color is very vibrant, but it lacks because the be is showing its rear-end.

wrong category, a little hot, not bad though. Keep shooting.
