Mary, to me this is a pretty complicated photo.  It has a person walking away from the camera, and it includes a number of human-related objects, including a roadway, traffic signs, and street lights.  It also has trees in fog.  The odd thing about the trees is that they have a greenish cast (and I hope that's not just my monitor -- I'm using a laptop).  The fog itself has a greenish cast on the left side and is a very bright white on the right side.  For me, all of that makes for a complicated composition, and I'm not sure what to make of it (and I'm not sure what you had intended to make of it).  No one can tell you what you "ought" to do with your photography, but I can tell you what I would do if I were standing here.  If it were possible, I'd walk up ahead of where that person presently is, point my camera to the left away from the bright whiteness, and focus on some interesting compositions of the trees.  That low, multi-stemmed tree looks like a great candidate.  I don't know what's causing the greenish hue, but I'd try to eliminate it.  For me, the best fog photographs are those that have a nearby element that (because of its nearness) is less affected by the fog than more distant elements.  If you can find that kind of composition, you might see if it works for you.  I have a few examples like that in my folder on "Trees."  That's my $0.02, and I hope it's useful.
