harrylichtman 0 Posted December 6, 2010 Deep in Zion's Narrows. I have considered a tighter crop off the bottom, wondering what folks thought. Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted December 7, 2010 I really like the tones of this shot Harry. The stones in the foreground almost look as if they had been placed there by hand. Nice colors, light and movement. Masterfully done - regards - michel Link to comment
stp 6 Posted December 9, 2010 As Michel said, great tones here, and I really like the overall composition. Regarding the foreground stones, I like the current placement of the bottom edge, but if you cropped a bit, I don't think that would make a lot of difference (even though it would change the composition a bit -- it's all a matter of personal preference). Being an armchair photographer, I might have tried stepping to the right a bit to a place where I could pan the camera to the left but still avoid the rock wall on the left until the point where it makes contact with the stream. It's that rock wall in the lower left corner that I think is bothering me, and I'd like to try an alternative that eliminates it. Not sure if that would be better, but coming this far I'd certainly be trying it. Link to comment
malmer 0 Posted November 5, 2012 Hi Harry,A lovely picture of a great site. I was there three years ago and I just loved walking around in the Wall street. I like your idea of focusing on the small pebbles and the silky smooth water is beautiful.best regards Per Link to comment
