stp 6 Posted December 6, 2010 It's a superb composition. It looks more processed than I personally prefer, but I'm an outlier in that regard compared to most photographers. I think if you're going to process heavily, this is one of the best examples I've seen of a successful outcome. The light on the nearest tombstone is perfect, and the fading light and increasing grittiness in the background fits the subject perfectly. Very nice work. I'd love to see the original to see how much you put into it, and to consider how I might have tackled this. Link to comment
kim-maru 0 Posted December 7, 2010 I think the processing enhances the mood of this image---I particularly love the fact that it is not a purely black and white or evenly toned image---just enough colour (and the right colour!) to keep it interesting and still moody! : ) kim Link to comment
