I was surprised that this photo turned out this good, because I tossed the ball to Fred, while aiming with my camera, then shot the picture.

Fred is very unuaual. He does more with his paws than any other dog I

have ever known. Here he is catching his ball. He pawed it first, then

caught it with his mouth. I tossed the ball with one hand and snapped

the picture with the other. How did I do?

What a fun shot. You can see the excitement and joy Fred is experiencing and catching him with his mouth wide open and the ball in mid air make this a special shot. And of course I think you picked an exceptional name for him too.

Fred (our dog), was rescued from a trash can at Georgia Driving Academy in Conyers Georgia, A CDL Truck Driving School. I named him after Fred in the movie Smokey and the Bandit. (He is Snowman's hound dog in the Coors Big Rig truck). Fred was about 5 weeks old when we found him, and his brother Rig went home with the son of the owner of the Driving School. Our Fred is so full of life. I believe he knows he was rescued. He acts like he appreciates us. He is also a clown, and tries to get attention.

Thank you so much for the compliment, and for your visit. We call him the mascot of the school. Poor Rig doesn't get as much attention.  -- Best regards, Janice.

Excellent action shot !!  His expression is great and his skin tones are good.

Lately, I am trying to capture Fred in action. He is not like most dogs, who catch things with their mouths. He tries to catch the ball, and then bite it.  I captured this in between and catch and the bite. This is one of my favorite photographs of Fred. Thanks so much! Best regards, Janice.
