A moment in his fingers (Best viewed larger)

This was taken in the high-altitude town of Litang, which is situated in the

Tibetan part of Sichuan province. It is at a lung busting 4000m.

The monks at the local monastery were some of the friendliest and most

engaging we came across during our whole trip.

Not sure how this could be improved.  It's a fantastic shot from the pose to the colors, including the expression.  All in this shot is perfect in my opinion.  Great capture, excellent work - regards - michel

I am very pleased with picture, although I am not sure what of the two versions I like better. 

As for the ratings, I am just not sure that this is the type of photo that is popular on PN.  The images that score the highest ratings often seem to have a particular 'look' to them that I find hard to describe in words.

Fine portrait of this little and young monk or a kid having new suit ,he was very well captured against this saffron background,and a good emotions he shows.
