Katerina Pachou 1,754 Posted December 2, 2010 When a tittle is given to a photograph, they should be able to backup one another. For this title, I would expect something more intimate, less pose, more free. Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted December 2, 2010 Thank you Lan and Pierre. Lan, I understand what you are saying, but many people prefer F/F work, and are turned off by M/F work. I'm not at all opposed to doing M/F work, but I must admit, I'm also one of those in the camp that prefers F/F images.Catherine, this shoot truly was their first time, and I think that after the shoot, they did become much more "intimate and free..." you can find those type of images on the many porn sites available to you out there. I do feel that porn has its place, but I prefer to stick with more artistic images. Link to comment
Katerina Pachou 1,754 Posted December 2, 2010 Dear Michael, I am afraid you misunderstood me. I might have used the wrong words, but that would be due to my not so good English perhaps. Now, what I want to say with intimate and free.. (and this is just one personal view, not an aggressive comment) I cant get the magic. The sensuality. So by free and intimate, I mean that I would expect from the girls to be more into the role than the concept itself. Like this onehttp://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=12020445and this onehttp://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=12020475(I hope that this is more clear) Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted December 2, 2010 Hi Catherine,Okay, I gotcha' now. Sorry for my misinterpretation. Yes, I think you are correct... this was at the beginning of the shoot, and even though the girls were comfortable being nude, they were probably still just a bit stiff. I'm glad you found some of the other images in the series more to your liking! Best, Michael Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted December 3, 2010 I clicked on this thinking the comments may have been more interesting than the image itself. That is not the case. However, my feelings on this image have already been dealt with. They do look uncomfortable and stiff. I also get the feeling it is overly posed.I don't mind the chair being in the shot but I might not have let it obscure her bottom. Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted December 3, 2010 I understand what you are saying David. I had a dilemma for this entire shoot. The girl on the left has a lot of cellulose on her bottom and her rear thighs. So, do I photograph it, or try to hide it? I'm not that good on PS to take care of the problem, so I chose to try and hide it throughout the whole shoot. What would you have done?I agree regarding their stiffness. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 3, 2010 hi Michael.. i like that there is a story here. and you have captured very well their emotions because they appear slightly inhibitied. the setting is very inviting and i would like to see how this played out? samme Link to comment

westcave 0 Posted September 29, 2012 Submission is very difficult to capture on film, but you have done a very good job here. Another image you can be proud of. Tracy Link to comment
