Thanks for stopping by. The night sky from the desert is spectacular but photographing it is not so easy. The sky was the result of combining 15 exposures (to minimize streaks and eliminate noise from ISO 3200) and the dune was exposed separately. Cheers, RickDB

It was my poor old lap-top that did all the work! It took almost an hour to process the sky - but the resulting lack of noise was amazing - the black between the stars was really black. Cheers, RickDB
