Ripple Effect

I wold appreciate your comments. This, to me, is like an optical

illusion. the longer I look the more things happen. Maybe it's just

me, but I would really appreciate your input. Thanks for looking.

You're right, the longer one looks at it the more one sees - from square boxes with black shadows to square boxes with ramps etc.. I assume these are just all flat tiles but it is an interesting effect. There are a few things that could be cleaned up but it is a very good shot.

An interesting intersection of curves in light and shade ( white and black) creating

an optical illusion ,when viewed from top to bottom or from bottom to top.

Thank you for taking the time to look and keep looking.  This is a tile floor from the Roman Empire as reconstructed at the Getty Villa in Santa Monica, CA. I have several other shots taken from different angles that have some pretty wild effects too.
