the lack of reflection in the water works perfectly as background for the subject. and the sky.. the sky is amazing..  Some filters used? or polarizer? regards.

No filter used (except the infrared filter replaced in front of the sensor). Sharpness is a great feature of the infrared. Only one alteration in the picture is a little crop at the bottom.

Bravo!  Wonderful image.  The flying diver leads the eye into the rest of the image giving the lake interest it otherwise wouldn't have.  The mountains and sky are well composed.  Interesting infrared.  I was under the impression that infrared reversed out the black and white values.  I must be wrong – How is the infrared noticeable here?

It 's a real infrared image desaturated to get the BW. The is noticeable - Very dark sky and water - Homogeneous white skin (see also the child who picks up the ball on the right) - White trees (different kinds of trees will react differently, and then the cypress trees are darker). Spots of light, in the verdant mountains, where the clouds not cover the sun have more white trees. - The great sharpness across the focal plane. I agree that the effect is not so extremely obvious as in other shots, but maybe that's why it works. thanks
