"Decision Time"

Exposure Date: 2010:11:09 17:10:47Late Autumn is decision time for these Canadian Geese - whether to migrate south or stay put where they are. Many of them decide to stay near the environs of the City of Boise. Despite several signs posted all over the city parks, ("Kindness Kills"), people feed these birds with left overs, popcorn and such. Well maintained green lawns in the park are tempting for them as well - as they feed on tender grass shoots.I took this photo as the sun was setting - and the twilight hitting the tall trees cast their long shadows on the land.

I took this photo as the sun was setting - and the twilight hitting the tall trees cast their long shadows on the land filled with fallen leaves.

I think the warm light and the texture by lines is most attractive, I get the feeling seeing more above the top edge, esp. as the geese are more in the top region.
