sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted November 25, 2010 Somnath, This is an attractive night shot with gorgeous color tones. A beautiful composition with very nice details. The image is tilted a bit to the left of the viewer. A tilted architectural photograph is not much appreciable (unless it’s intentionally done for creating special effects). The foreground is really bright and attractive. Isn’t it drawing the viewers’ attention from the main subject? An eye-catching shot. 6. Best regards. Link to comment

somnath.mukherjee 0 Posted November 25, 2010 Thanks Sumon for visiting and for such a good analysis. You are very right. Tilting is a bad thing in architectural shots. It was handheld and I only had my D90 with 18-55 VR with me. I tried my best to keep as less tilt as possible and as the lens has pretty much distortion at 18mm end, the vertical lines also look converging, not perfectly perpendicular. And yes I understand the distraction created by the bright foreground. Thanks for your inputs. I appreciate it. All the best.Regards,Somnath Link to comment
