I like what you are doing and the outcome, the greens, the road, the tree trunks, including the "grain" in general. If I may suggest, there are a few trunks not with the same treatment as the rest(which I like) which you may change to fit in, but this is just my opinion.

Hi Roger.  Interesting application.  I was wondering whether the composition would look better in verticle format with the right tree taken out.  That tree distracts plus everything else is vertical.  A crop of this photo would leave its branches at the top and may not work with this shot but maybe another picture vertically composed at the scene might work.  Nice shot.  Alan
