This is a great capture Miguel. Very sharp and with excellent composition.

To me, however, the highlights look somewhat overexposed to me, obliterating a lot of detail in the white feathers. It  looks to me like there was fill flash used, and it was too strongly weighted towards the flash over ambient.

I dropped some of the values with curves, but unfortunately, some of the detail in the white feathers was just not there. Digital is in many cases, a lot less forgiving then film when it comes to overexposure of highlights. Once it's gone, it cannot be recovered.

A beautiful moment; sharp and fine eye contact, but Scott took the thoughts right off of my keyboard! 

The flash, I think, made it too harsh and messed up some of the colors too.

I'd rate it pretty high on just the subject but the lighting shoots it down a notch for me. Hope that helps.
