henrimanguy 0 Posted July 7, 2003 I am not an expert, but when reading the comment of Bobby Douglas, it seems to me that he is right. However... 1) The effect produced by this photo is fantastic and it is the essential. 2) Bobby forgot that imself has manipulated skies in a visible manner. See for example his "San Esteban Del Ray Mission" red sky version. He has not worry about if "it should look real". Nevertheless, his photo is fantastic. And yours too. Thus his critic is not valid. dievee 0 Posted October 13, 2003 Jean, Jean, Jean, I really am jaleous. I became addicted in photographing swans months ago and have almost 18000 pictures of them and none that could be close to this dreamy painting looking fantastic picture. What an incredible dynamic range you have in this image, did you used several shots of this scene to become that result ? I absolutely love this image ! A big bravo ! Link to comment
jean_schweitzer 0 Posted October 19, 2003 Hello Dirk, thanks for your nice comments, I have used two pictures here: the sky is added on the original one (swans + church), I must admit I'm lucky to live not far from this place...jean Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted March 25, 2004 Beautiful shot. Even moreso that the swans lead the eye straight up to the church Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 6, 2004 I know that this is an older image in your portfolio, but I was just browsing ... amazing work that you have throughout ... and am in love with this particular image. The colors, the lighting, the composition ... all perfect!! Link to comment
dumitru_arama 0 Posted August 9, 2004 What a fantastic world. I still watch it and can't believe all the feelings this image brings up inside of me. One of those secret magic calm scenes that can make you totally mad Where is it and what did you add in Photoshop? Link to comment
jean_schweitzer 0 Posted August 10, 2004 thank you Dumitru, this is in Hrsholm in denmark, only the sky was worked in ps, the rest of the scene was just there as on the picture part some slight leveling work. best wishes, jean Link to comment
