Very interesting pic. It is a challenge to the vision. Outside of the shadows, it 'looks'  a plane picture, but doubles up at the shadows. Probably that effect would have been more acute, if you had included more of the top and cropped at the bottom with the edge close to the object in the bottom left. just my opinion.
