matt_pearson 0 Posted April 4, 2001 For some reason the pig looks dead to me. I think that if you would have shot it vertically and captured some of the earth below it it wouldn't have looked that way... I really don't know why I can't look at it and see a sleeping pig! This isn't a probablem that I have very often :-) I think tht it's because when I first looked at it I thought that it's teeth were showing and now the image of the dead pig is ingraned in my mind. If there would have been just a small strip of earth at the bottom with a small patch of green grass (good luck finding much green grass in a pig sty, I know!) would show more life. OH! I know what it is, it is simply that there is no 'natural' pig-setting (mud, dirt). That would make it more obvious that the pig climbed up on the wood to sleep. Maybe i'm weird.... Link to comment
melanie_trowbridge 0 Posted July 7, 2001 Loved Matt's comment about the dead pig, made me laugh. Unfortunately I have to tell him that yep, that's wierd. I think what makes this such an attractive shot is the fact that the pig is not simply in a pigpen or surrounded by green grass. I immediately had Charlotte's Web flashbacks. This photo's fabulous as is. Link to comment
kyorston 0 Posted August 2, 2001 I love this shot. She's a pet pig, and looks so 'at home' lying on the doorstep. Great colour. Link to comment
jessie1f 0 Posted September 15, 2001 This is such an awesome photo. The pig looks like he has a little smile on his face so he does look at home there. I love this pic!! Where did you take it? Is the pig yours? Link to comment
embee_embee 0 Posted July 6, 2003 just like Jessie says, it looks like the pig is having pleasant dreams that's keeping a smile on her face. nice coloring Link to comment
